The Test Series

“During those endless childhood summers, watching the Indian cricket team play matches in Australia, sharing this with the hundreds of vocal, colourful fans, felt like a way in to access my otherwise ‘other’ Indian culture. My dual cultures felt just that, not one, or the other, but both reconciled.”

The Test Series (Edition 1) is a collection of wall-hung, mini ceramic cricket bats, handles bound with kautuka (a red and yellow coloured ritual thread) for protection and ornamentation.
