Endangered Australian species series
Aipysurus apraefrontalis (Short-nosed sea snake)

This series of works presents six different critically endangered Australian species, one for each of the following categories; Mammals, Birds, Fishes, Reptiles, Amphibians, and Arthropods.

Referencing naturalist drawings, historically created with limited information and access to the specimen. This body of work was based on drawing the natural world from isolation, consciously using online imagery to create fragmented depictions of species to acknowledge their diminishing presence in nature.
